Roland Berger – Conversational UX Design

During a fixed-term contract at Roland Berger, I was responsible for designing the interface and animation for a public-facing HR chatbot that helps potential consulting candidates engage with the company in a friendly, conversational format.
The challenge was to design something that felt both professional and approachable. I created all chatbot UI screens and proposed a bottom-right slide-in interaction to improve usability, especially on mobile — replacing an initial request for a top-banner pop-up.
I also designed a custom animated character for the chatbot icon. Starting with a detailed Adobe Illustrator illustration, I optimized the asset and converted it into a lightweight Lottie animation to ensure smooth performance and fast load times.
This project demonstrates my cross-functional work across interface design, UX strategy, and web animation — in a corporate environment with high visual and functional standards.
